The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with All County Paving to resurface the road and apply new pavement markings along NE 8th Street from US 1 / N. Federal Highway to G. Martin Harold Drive in Victoria Park.This area includes the entrance to Holiday Park, The Parker, the FTL War Memorial, and the Baptist Health IcePlex.

Construction will begin on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, and is expected to be completed by Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Work will take place weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Neighbors are asked to refrain from parking along NE 8th Street during work hours.
• One lane in each direction of NE 8th Street will be closed daily during work hours.
• Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
• Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with nearby properties prior to the start of asphalt operations that will impact driveway access.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
