Fort Lauderdale (December 23, 2014) - The City of Fort Lauderdale Public Works Department, in consultation with the Broward County Public Health Department, HAS ISSUED A TEMPORARY PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE for all properties along Hendricks Isle Drive (NE 18th Avenue), from Las Olas Boulevard to the Rio Barcelona Canal (see map below).

This notice is being issued due to an isolated water main failure.  Workers are on the scene and repair efforts are underway.  The temporary precautionary boil water notice will be in effect until further notice. Testing will be conducted prior to lifting the notice.
