About the Division
The Public Works Department's Engineering Division provides project management for upgrades to the City of Fort Lauderdale's infrastructure.
Our team of professional engineers, construction managers, inspectors and administrative personnel provide internal project management, contract administration and development services which benefit our internal and external stakeholders.
Diverse project types include improvements to:

NW 6th St. / Sistrunk Blvd. will be open to local traffic only from NW 7th Ave. to Andrews Ave. starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 23 until approximately 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 26 while crews install drainage infrastructure at the intersection of NW 6th St. / Sistrunk Blvd. & NW 5th Ave.
