Join us on Saturday, April 27 for “Fort Lauderdale Cares Day,” a grassroots event that offers neighbors a chance to participate in more than 40 volunteer opportunities throughout the City.&nbsp; Projects include street and beach cleanups, neighborhood beautification, tree planting, painting, landscaping, maintenance, and more. Plus, donations of non-perishable food, toys, clothing, and books may be dropped off in the City Hall lobby now through April 26 during regular business hours.&nbsp; So pick a project, lend a hand, and help us work together to build community.&nbsp; By participating, officially recognized neighborhoods can earn 500 points toward future NCIP grants.</p>
