Key Points:
-From 4:30 p.m. to facilitate the parade on A1A, a detour plan will be implemented from Vistamar Street to the north and Harbor Drive to the south.
-A counter flow traffic pattern will be utilized between East Las Olas Boulevard and Harbor Drive.
-At approximately 4:30 p.m., the two lanes of southbound Seabreeze Boulevard will be temporarily converted into one southbound lane and one northbound lane between East Las Olas Boulevard and Harbor Drive.
Parade Route:
-The parade will begin at Bayshore Drive and end at SE 5 Street.
-The parade will travel southbound in the closed to traffic northbound lanes of A1A.
Vehicles Traveling on A1A Northbound:
-Northbound A1A traffic will be narrowed into one lane and begin to be diverted into one of the southbound Seabreeze Boulevard lanes just north of Harbor Drive.
-At East Las Olas Boulevard, northbound traffic will be briefly detoured onto westbound East Las Olas Boulevard and then northbound again on Birch Road.
-Traffic will continue northbound on Birch Road until directed eastbound on Vistamar Street.
-At the intersection of Vistamar Street and A1A, northbound traffic will reenter the northbound lanes of A1A.
Vehicles Traveling on Seabreeze Boulevard Southbound:
-At Vistamar Street, southbound A1A traffic will be diverted westbound to Birch Road.
-Traffic will turn left (southbound) and continue southbound on Birch Road until Las Olas Circle.
-Traffic will turn right (westbound) on Las Olas Circle, travel below the Las Olas drawbridge and then turn right (eastbound) on East Las Olas Boulevard
-At Seabreeze Boulevard, all eastbound East Las Olas Boulevard traffic will be detoured southbound on Seabreeze Boulevard
-The westernmost lane of southbound Seabreeze Boulevard will remain one southbound traffic from Seabreeze Boulevard to Harbor Drive.
Vehicles Traveling on East Las Olas Boulevard Eastbound:
-During the detour, eastbound East Las Olas Boulevard between Seabreeze Boulevard and A1A/Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, will be closed.
-At Seabreeze Boulevard, all eastbound traffic will be detoured from East Las Olas Boulevard to southbound Seabreeze Boulevard
-Eastbound traffic on East Las Olas Boulevard wishing to travel north of East Las Olas Boulevard upon reach the beach area should turn right (southbound) on Las Olas Circle and follow it to Birch Road, turning left (northbound) on Birch Road.
