<p style="text-align: center;">The Teen Summit is an initiative to foster positive growth in the lives of at-risk teenagers in Fort Lauderdale<br>
through a series of workshops that discuss topics such as life skills and critical preventive strategies against<br>
gang violence and substance abuse.&nbsp;A major component is the Interaction with Police session. It is designed to not only<br>
foster positive attitudes towards law enforcement, but also to decrease the rate of crimes committed by juveniles,<br>
specifically burglaries, in the City of Fort Lauderdale.&nbsp;The event is designed to inform, educate, and make our<br>
youth aware of important information that is critical to their success.</p>
