Fort Lauderdale Beach pedestrian crosswalks at Riomar Street and Terramar Street on Breakers Avenue are getting a colorful makeover to help improve safety and create a sense of place.
We hope you'll join us on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Riomar Street and Breakers Avenue on Fort Lauderdale Beach to participate in a unique community building event.
Volunteer opportunities are available on a first come, first served basis. Click here for more information and to register.
The City will temporarily close the intersections at Riomar and Terramar Streets on Breakers Avenue for the event beginning at
4 a.m. Sunday morning, May 15th and will reopen them at 5 p.m. the same day. Click here for details and detour information.
This project was made possible in part through an Art of Community grant from the Community Foundation of Broward. Founded in 1984, the Community Foundation of Broward provides leadership on community solutions, and fosters philanthropy that connects people who care with causes that matter.
