- North and southbound A1A will be fully closed from the north side of the Sunrise Boulevard intersection north to the 1100 block (NE 14 Court)
- East and westbound Sunrise Boulevard will remain open. Eastbound traffic on Sunrise Boulevard will be detoured south onto A1A. Northbound traffic on A1A will be detoured west on Sunrise Boulevard
- The A1A east side sidewalk from Sunrise Boulevard north to the 1100 block (NE 14 Court) will be closed.
In addition:
There will be restricted access to the A1A west side sidewalk during show hours, 11 am – 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The southbound lane of NE 26 Avenue from Sunrise Boulevard to NE 9 Street will be closed 7 am – 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate pedestrian traffic.
Fort Lauderdale Air Show parking is available for pre-purchase in the Galleria Mall parking garage for $20.00 each day. Parking passes may be purchased online at www.fortlauderdaleairshow.com. Enter the Galleria Mall from east or westbound Sunrise Boulevard using Bayview Drive (NE 24 Avenue). Follow Bayview Drive south to NE 9 Street. Follow NE 9 Street east to the garage entrance. Garage opens at 8 am Courtesy shuttle available for handicapped guests to and from Galleria Mall and Birch State Park.
RIVERWALK WATER TROLLEY: Water Trolley service will not be affected. This service will operate as scheduled at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 11:00pm.
SUN TROLLEY BEACH LINK: Road closures will not affect the Beach Link route, but headways will be affected by traffic congestion, and as a result customers will experience longer than usual wait times. We will be providing service as scheduled daily 9:30 am to 6:30 pm using three trolleys as usual.
SUN TROLLEY GALT LINK: The Galt Link route will be affected by the road closure. Instead of using A1A to reach Galleria Mall, we will instead use Oakland Park Blvd to Bayview Drive. As a result, the A1A corridor between Oakland Park Blvd and Sunrise Blvd will not receive Sun Trolley service. This modification will especially affect our regular Sun Trolley customers residing along NE 33 Avenue, as well as the guests of Pelican Grand Beach Resort. Galt Link service will operate during its normal days/times on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm using two trolleys as usual.
