DESCRIPTION:<p>The Broward County Waterway Cleanup, organized by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida, is the county’s largest and longest-running environmental event. In 2024, more than 1,200 volunteers of all ages by land and 250 boats/personal watercraft volunteered throughout 38 sites across Broward County to remove 17 tons of trash and debris from our inland waterways.</p><p>This year’s Cleanup will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025, starting at 9 a.m. You do not need a boat to participate! Choose from more than 30 sites across Broward County to volunteer at and help clean our community and waterways!
