The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with Jacobs Engineering Group to prepare designs for the replacement of three existing bridges along West Lake Drive in Harbor Beach to ensure climate resilience and improve safety.

This project includes:

The estimated construction cost is $9.2 million. This project is partially funded by City and federal funds.

 Data collection activities including surveying, geotechnical analysis and waterway inspections were completed in October 2023. Construction is scheduled to begin in fall 2028 and is expected to be completed in summer 2030. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Public Meeting

Join the City of Fort Lauderdale and the Design Consultant Team during a public meeting that will include a presentation and a question-and-answer session. Project information will be available for public viewing. Questions and comments may be submitted prior to the meeting by emailing the Project Manager.
