The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with Roadway Design Solutions to prepare designs for the replacement of the SE 7th Street Bridge over Rio Cordova, located east of Cordova Road, in Rio Vista (Bridge No. 865760) to ensure climate resilience and improve safety.
This project includes:
The estimated construction cost is $1.1 million. This project is partially funded by City and federal funds.
Data collection activities including surveying, geotechnical analysis and waterway inspections were completed in October 2023. Construction is scheduled to begin in fall 2026 and is expected to be completed in late 2027. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Join the City of Fort Lauderdale and the Design Consultant Team during a public meeting that will include a presentation and a question-and-answer session. Project information will be available for public viewing. Questions and comments may be submitted prior to the meeting by emailing the Project Manager.
