<p><b><i>Fort Lauderdale</i></b> – Beginning Friday, December 7 at 9:00 AM, Sistrunk Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale will be closed between N.W. 9 Avenue (Powerline Road) and N.W. 12 Avenue to allow crews to set up for the annual Light Up Sistrunk event.&nbsp; The three-block stretch of roadway will reopen at 1:00 AM on Saturday, December 8.&nbsp;</p>
<p>While the closure is in effect, traffic will be detoured around the affected area via the following routes:&nbsp;</p>
<p>• Eastbound traffic on Sistrunk Boulevard will be detoured using N.W. 13 Terrace (northbound) to N.W. 7 Street (eastbound). </p>
<p>• Westbound traffic on Sistrunk Boulevard will be detoured using N.W. 9 Avenue (Powerline Road) (southbound) to N.W. 5 Street (westbound).&nbsp;</p>
<p>Signs will be posted in the area to alert motorists of the detours.&nbsp; Motorists should expect delays in and around the affected area.</p>
