DESCRIPTION:<p><b><b>Paddle With A Purpose Waterway and Shoreline Cleanup&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</b></b></p><p><b><b>&nbsp;RSVP - Required</b>&nbsp;</b></p><p><b>&nbsp;</b><b>Every Third Saturday (except in April and October, when it is part of our major service days on the LAST Saturday)&nbsp;&nbsp;</b></p><p><b>&nbsp;</b>9:00 am – 11:00 am<b>&nbsp;</b></p><p>In just twelve months volunteers removed over 13,500 lbs. for trash from the North Fork of the New River.&nbsp; They collected anything from tires, to fire extinguishers to the kitchen sink.&nbsp; Help us to remove trash and make new friends.&nbsp; The team meets in Delevoe Park, 2520 NW 6 St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.&nbsp; There is plenty of free parking in the park.</p><p><b><u>Important Volunteer Information:</u></b></p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The event is open to caring neighbors, but minors must be at least 15 years of age!</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proper attire is a t-shirt and pants - things you do not mind getting dirty!</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Due to the outdoor activity, it is recommended all volunteers wear a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent, plus bring their own water and snacks.</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; All tools will be provided.&nbsp; However, for your personal comfort we request that you bring your own pair of garden gloves!</p><p><b>For more information contact </b><b>team leader Robert Figueroa at </b><a href="mailto:&#114;&#111;&#98;&#101;&#114;&#116;&#106;&#102;&#105;&#103;&#117;&#101;&#114;&#111;&#97;&#64;&#103;&#109;&#97;&#105;&#108;&#46;&#99;&#111;&#109;"><b>robertjfigueroa@gmail.com</b></a><b>.</b></p>
